Our Wedding Celebration

May 2nd 2008. We celebrated our wedding in a beautiful backyard with the most perfect weather! Our entire wedding was Hawaiian themed down to the music, entertainment, and attire.

Above: The cake was amazing!! Our dear family friend, Linda Matthews, created this master piece. The beautiful quilt behind it was our wedding gift from Aunt Sue. Thank you! Such talent and it was the inspiration piece for our master bedroom.

Above: We had a Polynesian Entertainment group, Tau'sala Productions, come and delight us with a tour of the dancing and chants from the Polynesian islands. We also had a fire/knife dancer which was amazing. The kids were in shock and gasped at everything he did.
Above: John and Sara prepared something special to share with each other prior to the Polynesian show. Sara learned and performed a Hula. John wrote and recited a Poem entitled "S.A.R.A". Also, Sara's parents and sisters sang her favorite childhood song, "Nothing's Quite As Pretty As Sara In The Morning". Sara's dad used to sing that song and play his guitar to all his daughters. Each time replacing the childs name in the song.
Left: Sara and John leaving for their Honeymoon! We spent the majority of our honeymoon in California. Enjoyed the cool weather, enjoyed being together, and enjoyed our last hurrah with our season passes at Disneyland!
