Something recent...a trip to the mall

So, I needed to take a little break from posting about the summer vacations that I'm over 2 MONTHS behind on! ='(
(when are they going to put little face options on her so we can show some modern computer emotions?)
Anyway, so I wanted to share a couple pics and video clips that we took on a little jaunt to the SuperStition Springs Mall a few wks ago. It was just a fun morning. I woke up and said...We need to get out of the house and not spend a cent! Does anyone else have those days? So I called my mom and dragged her with us. It was fantastic fun just roaming, browsing, seeing what the world calls style, people watching, and chatting about stuff and life and everything in between as we strolled around and around the floors of the mall. I'm pretty certain that it was Bryce's first elevator ride too. Then at the bottom I discovered a new kid play place! We were wary to let Bryce go in, but eventually I did. Just as I let him down to do his thing...they came and announced that we all had to leave because they were closing for cleaning! Bad timing =( Oh well, next time then.
I think this is just the most beautiful picture of my mom!
Too bad Bryce wasn't looking up or at least had his hand out of his mouth
or something picture worthy.

K- So I hope to be ambitious enough one day to make these.
They seem simple enough, they are dang cute, and useful!
Who could ask for anything more?
What is it you ask? Why it's a hand towel/dish cloth/hot pad angel
of course ;-}
Rags to Riches I'll have to call it. =D
or maybe
Rags with Wings!
I don't know, I'll have to think on that some more.
But apparently, we can all use angelic help in the kitchen
or maybe using these in the kitchen makes you angelic?
Below videos
First video: background to know is that when we first went into the store Bryce LOVED this little Frankenstein. I mean LOVED him!!! We played him probably 10 times. I even considered breaking my "Don't spend a cent" rule and buying it for him. Then I saw the price and remember why I set the rule. Point is... just as we were leaving I thought, "Oh I better let him enjoy that little Frankenstein one more time" and this is what happened?!?! I'm STILL confused, honestly.

Second video: I thought the first video was a fluke. Maybe it was too close for comfort or something. So I put him up on Grandma's lap(what is more comforting and safe than that?) where he was the first 10 times when he liked it. I truly thought this was the answer. As you can see, I'm all ready to video his cute little excited smiling face as the Frankenstein dances to the Monster Mash. Another failure and we were done. Sad videos.=(
My cute little boy! And a little girl magnet too.
She came right over and started playing and tickling him.
Hope that is nothing of what is to come in the future ;-)
Third video: As I stated earlier. Just as I was letting my baby spread his wings and fly into the scary world of other children he did not know----They announce we have to move out and FAST! So, thats why in the video I'm telling him we have to go. It wasn't for Bryce I was saying that. It was so I could buy myself a few more precious seconds as he discovered the LadyBug.

Hey, just wanted to thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I know it's kind of a late response, but I got a little behind on things over the summer. Anyway, sorry to be promoting this on your blog, I don't usually do this, but I wanted to let you know that I've got another giveaway going on right now. I really want to help a friend out. If you get a minute, could you head over to my blog and enter for me? The giveaway prize is $50, so I know that it's something everyone would want :) Anyway, thank you so much, I really appreciate your time. Oh, and by the way, where are you located? I'm trying to get a list of all the bloggers I know in SLC Utah. I really want to plan a bloggers social. It would be fun to meet you in person!

  3. I know that I'm commenting on an old post.. sorry! I miss you! You need to put pictures of your happy smiling face on these posts, lady! It's ok, the cute little Bryce videos make up for the Sara absence. lol. I love it when kids scream over toys like that- it makes me wonder what they're thinking. ha ha ha. there is so much knowledge we take for granted- like the fact that he will not, in point of fact, be eaten by the green dancey monster. He doesn't know that. ha ha. These poor kids.

ok, on the angel what are the long things hanging down in front? towels? They look like the quality and shape/size of karate belts.

  4. Looks like you had a great time shopping with your mom. What better fun can that be? Bryce is too cute! They grow up way too fast, don't they? I have to agree with Stephanie above, you need to put some photos of you up. I miss your smiling face! How is everything in your new place? We really miss you here. I hope you are well! Love ya!
